MCI LAUNCHES NEW YACHT NEWSLETTER

(THIS IS OUR FIRST ISSUE!)

The MCI family on Cook Islands

KIA ORANA!

This newsletter is one of the many concrete results that came out of the Deputy Registrars (DRs) conference this year. We have listened to your views and concluded that a separate newsletter for the yachting business would be beneficial to the DRs who focus on this area.

We hope to have your support as we strive to transform Maritime Cook Islands into the flag of choice for top quality yacht owners.

DR CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS

Delegates, welcomed with flower garlands, seated at the conference hall

The Cook Islands Deputy Registrars Conference was held at the Crown Beach Resort and Spa in Rarotonga, Cook Islands from the 27th June – 1st July 2016. Deputy Registrars from all around the world gathered to discuss the future progress of the Cook Islands flag and to meet with Government Officials.

As our last meeting in Athens was almost two years ago, it was great to finally meet most of the Deputy Registrars face-to-face in a single location. It was also a great opportunity to re-connect and share with the DRs our vision to transform MCI into a flag of choice for ship owners all over the world.

Click here to see highlights from the conference.

Enjoy!

The vessel is named in memory of their two dogs, who are no longer with them.

NEW APPOINTMENTS – DEPUTY REGISTRARS & SURVEYORS

Maritime Cook Islands (“MCI”), the leading ship registry, has recently appointed new Deputy Registrars (DRs) and Surveyors to better serve yacht owners of MCI. The MCI yacht’s book of business has been steadily growing over the years and supporting its growth is the strengthening of MCI network of DRs and surveyors. This is so that owners have a contact point in the area close to them, to personally address their needs and queries more promptly and efficiently.

The new appointments are:

1. Ing. Andrea Emanuele Pippa – Surveyor and Yacht Technical Expert
2. Marin Sobin – DR for Croatia
